Living environment

The borough of Haabneeme, situated in the municipality of Viimsi, is a distinguished residential area by the sea. A wide array of leisure facilities, closeness to nature and a highly rated living environment – these are the keywords for the neighbourhood where the semi-detached houses are planned to be built.
The Viimsi peninsula is particularly popular among young people and families with children. It offers large residential homes, a green living environment and a shiny new infrastructure.
For many people working in Tallinn, Viimsi is the most convenient and reasonable choice of residence. In most housing areas of the Haabneeme and Pringi villages, detached, semi-detached, and terraced houses predominate. Semi-detached houses

The semi-detached houses are designed in a modern architectural style with elegant interior solutions based on the maximum use of natural materials and an energy-saving approach.

The sizes of the semi-detached units range from 127.5 to 147.5 m². Each semi-detached unit has its own parking space within the property’s grounds and a terrace in the large garden.

The semi-detached houses are built in the style of functionalism, and stand out from each other yet are linked in a close relation achieved through colour variations in the facades and the glass details.

The interior layout provides plenty of space and light. The so-called “Finnish approach” is used for the floor-plans.

This project comprises the construction of eight semi-detached units

The semi-detached houses Laanekivi 22 and 24 and Laaneserva 7 and 11 are located on the fringe of the residential neighbourhood, adjacent to an already developed residential area.

The communications and utilities have been built in the last few years – with asphalt streets and non-motorised traffic trails. The residential neighbourhood has all of the necessary services nearby:

  • schools and a kindergarten (about 200 m)
  • shopping centres in Viimsi
  • aqua park
  • cinema
  • Fertilitas medical centre
  • service facilities
  • petrol stations
  • hiking trails
  • sports grounds.

In the near future, a winter sports centre and a new stadium will be completed in Viimsi.

 

Location

From a logistical perspective, the residential neighbourhood is an excellent location – Tallinn city centre is a 10 to15 minute drive away, and the centre of Viimsi about a 3 minute drive away. There are good public transport connections within the municipality as well as to Tallinn city centre.
